We've rebuilt the Hightekers onboarding flow from scratch. A new freelancer can now sign up, pick their country, sign their contract, and land on their personal dashboard in under 15 minutes — without hopping between emails, PDFs, and scanned ID uploads.
Why this matters
Onboarding is the first impression. If a freelancer loses a day chasing forms before their first client meeting, the relationship starts on the wrong foot. The rebuild was driven by one question: what can we automate so the freelancer only spends time on decisions that are actually theirs to make?
What's new
- A single guided flow instead of four separate tools
- Country-specific steps injected automatically — no more "wait, does this apply to me?"
- ID verification handled in-app, no PDF uploads required
- Contract signing + payroll setup happens in the same session
What's next
We'll keep tightening it. The next release focuses on integrations with client HR systems, so that an engagement that originated on a client's side can flow into Hightekers without the freelancer re-entering the same data.
